Q: What kind of qualification do your consultants have?
A: Our consultants improve their skills continuously in training environments and at seminars, which is documented by certificates. Of course the knowledge in theory must be affirmed by successful and repeated practical doing. So all of our consultants are skilled in their technical/professional focuses for at least 12 years, some of them even for more than 20 years.
Q: Does Return on Concept also consult independently?
A: Indeed we look after business relations to relevant providers on the market but do not have exclusive partnerships imposing some kind of duties on us as e.g. sales target. Our ambition always is to work out the most effective solution for our customers with our services and our products.
Q: Have you got a certain methodology?
A: We follow, if given, the standards of the particular company or assignment of tasks. In the SAP field for example there has emerged the toolbox "ASAP" (Accelerated SAP) as a resource for checklists and procedures we use according to the customer’s demands.
Q: Are your consultants more experts or rather generalists?
A: Our consultants mainly are experts in a certain special field as e.g. controlling or materials logistics and respectively in the according modules and processes of the particular software solution. However our consultants stand out due to good judgement of the whole situation that they also can give firm information in contiguous fields, especially to questions on integration. Our generalists are mainly active in project management and if necessary in coaching.
Q: Do you only make concepts or do you also realise them?
A: We do not only realise concepts (customizing) but also give support in all further tasks as user training, tests, documentation, interface, optimisation of performance, etc.
Q: What if you fail to have enough competences and personell capacity?
A: We are administering a dedicated network with currently about 140 companies (dated Nov 2007), organisations and individuals with existing proof of achievement. Should there be a shortage in delivery or should there be a lack of knowledge from our side we can always access this network after consulting our customer.
Q: Do you also work at a fixed price?
A: On request we are happy to offer support on a fixed price base where at the same time we clearly mention noticeable extra costs or alternatives as options. Fixed price offers usually mean higher efforts in analysing within the preparation of a proposal.
Q: What about the customer support after the end of the project?
A: Depending on the type of project activity and on the customers’ resources we also give support after the end of the project, if necessary. In the standard software field however we already have the aim during the project that our customer will be able to work mostly autarkic afterwards, getting 1st –, if necessary also 2nd level support locally.
Q: And to what extent can one expect a continuing cooperation?
A: We are 100 % self-financed, therefore not dependent on any other company and we are in the black since our foundation in 2003. Relations between founders, employees and customers have partly existed since 1993. In this respect the important pre-conditions next to our will for a long existing partnership are given.
